What Is the Outdoor Channel?
Outdoor Channel was founded in 1994, and until 2007, it was known formally as The Outdoor Channel. In 2013, Outdoor Channel was purchased by the Outdoor Sportsman Group, which is affiliated with Kroenke Sports & Entertainment.
In addition to the United States, this network is available in Australia, Malaysia, and several other nations. You can also watch a wide variety of content produced and broadcasted by Outdoor Channel on its website.
Outdoor Channel Shows
Outdoor Channel features a variety of new and archived content that has either been produced by this entity or has been licensed from other networks.
Examples of shows that have aired elsewhere prior to being broadcast on this channel include Duck Dynasty and Flyin’ Wild Alaska. Shows that have been produced by Outdoor Network include The Brigade: Race to the Hudson, Mossy Oak’s Hunting the Country, and On Your Own Adventures.
The program Babes With Bullets promotes firearm use and safety for women of all ages and experience levels. Throughout the show’s run, it has touched on a variety of topics such as how to choose a firearm and where to learn how to shoot it. This program has also dedicated episodes to shooting competitions featuring women including highlighting many who are considered expert shooters.
If you are a professional wrestling fan, you may want to check out Shawn Michaels’ MacMillan River Adventures hosted by the man who won multiple WWE titles. Keith Mark is also listed as a host for this program.
Finally, you should check out Shootin’ in the USA if you want to stay in the loop about developments in the firearm industry. This show takes a close look at the top stories in the world of guns, sports, and the various ways that they overlap in society.
Outdoor Channel also has programs that feature commentary and opinion pieces regarding the Second Amendment and other topics that hunters and gun enthusiasts may find appealing.

Outdoor Channel Live Events
On Sunday mornings, Outdoor Channel will often broadcast Major League Fishing (MLF) events as well as other fishing tournaments.
Otherwise, the only live content that Outdoor Channel produces comes from the live camera feeds that the network places at various locations throughout the country. These cameras typically follow eagles and other animals as they move throughout their natural habitats.
Sister Stations
Sportsman Channel and the World Fishing Network are affiliated with Outdoor Channel. They tend to focus more on sports as opposed to news or other types of content.
