Early Life and Family
Cara was born on 7th August 1985 in London, United Kingdom. Her parents are Michael Robinson and Sarah Robinson. Her father Michael Robinson owns a company that plans golf holidays while her mother Sarah was the president of the British Alpine Racing Ski Clubs. Cara was brought up alongside her younger brother, Myles Robinson. Both of them attended Ashdown House Prep School, however, their parents decided to separate to different single-sex schools. Cara attended Beneden Boarding school for girls while Myles attended Charter House boarding school, also boys only. Born into the house of sports lovers, Cara and Myles developed an interest in pursuing a career in sports. The whole family are fans of Chelsea Football Club and Cara followed in the footsteps of her to go into golf. Same is said about her Myles who went as far as winning major tournaments with their father. Myles also loves skiing and water polo, which led to his death.
In December 2009, Myles was declared missing during the family’s annual Ski vacation in Wengen, Switzerland. His body was later found at the bottom of a steep cliff after a rigorous week of search by the search party which made headlines on the British media.

The foundation aims to give British youths the opportunity to teach under-privileged children sports.

Upon the completion of her university degree, Cara towed the sporting traits in her family by pursuing a career in reporting golf and sport events. She started as an assistant producer for the arm of IMG Media. The job did not give her time, as it involves traveling and covering golf tournaments. Then she moved on to covering Golfing World on Sky Sports in England. During this period, she also contributed to @TheOpenLive, a telecast of the open championship. In addition to that, she has also contributed to Wimbledon, London, 2012 Olympics, World’s Strongest Man (2013) and Taste Festivals. Over years, she has covered some major sports in Golf and other sporting events. With her growing experience in journalism, she was offered the job of co-hosting Golf Channel’s Morning Drive in 2015.
