Are you looking for a fun and unique way to enjoy jello shots at your next party? Syringe jello shots are the perfect solution! This creative twist on the classic recipe takes only minutes to prepare and will be a hit with your friends. Everyone will love these colorful jello shots that look like they came straight out of a science lab.
These jello shot syringes are the perfect party fare. I like to bring them to Halloween parties where they fit right in with my mad scientist costume and wow everyone. Seriously, guests’ eyes light up when they see me laying them out on a platter.
Even people who aren’t fond of the dessert will perk up when they realize there is alcohol in the ingredients. Try them and see how fast your guests line up to make them disappear.

How to make syringe jello shots
Pre-step
Fifteen minutes before you start the recipe, pour the amount of cold water you will need into a large bowl and add ice cubes to make it even colder. This is optional but I like doing it this way.
Set out one glass bowl or measuring cup for each jello color/flavor you will make.
Get a whisk or spoon for stirring. Make sure to wash it between batches of jello as you don’t want to intermingle the colors.
Step one
Gather the ingredients – Jello (I went with cherry, lime, lemon, and orange), vodka, and water.
Step two
Empty the boxes of cherry (A), and lime (B) jello powder into glass bowls.
Step three
Empty the boxes of orange (C) and lemon (D) jello powder into glass bowls.
Step four
Boil the water either in an electric kettle or on the stovetop.
Add 1 cup of freshly boiled water to EACH bowl. (E, F, G, H) I used 4 cups of water in total.
Step five
Use a whisk or spoon to mix the hot water with the jello powder until it melts thoroughly. (Don’t leave grains of sugar on the bottom if you can help it.)
Step six
Pour 1/2 cup of vodka and 1/2 cup cold water into EACH bowl. Stir again until the bowls of jello are completely mixed. (I, and J) I chose to picture below only two of the flavors I made.
In total, I used 2 cups of cold water and 2 cups of vodka divided across all four of my jello setups.
Step seven
Get a box or some type of container you can place the filled syringes in so they solidify in the vertical position.
Step eight
Take the cap off a syringe, place the tip into the jello, and carefully pull up the plunger until you’ve drawn up 2 ounces of the liquid.
Step nine
Secure the cap on the syringe and place it in your holding container tip-side down. Continue until you’ve filled as many syringes as you like. (You may have extra jello.)
Step ten
Place the box/container in the fridge for 4 hours to let the jello set.
Time to serve them.
Aren’t they fun?
Guess what I did right after I clicked the shutter on my camera?
Yup, you guessed right! I picked up a yellow jello shot and pressed that plunger so all that lemony goodness filled my mouth. YUM.
I hope you enjoyed this jello shot syringes recipe!
