For this series, I created a wide variety of scenes and characters inspired by the original Dr Seuss Grinch book, the 2000 movie with Jim Carrey, and the recent 2018 remake. I also included many pages of The Grinch getting up to mischief with his best furry friend, Max.

10 Craft Ideas To Do With The Grinch Coloring Pages
Here are 10 cheap, fun, and creative craft ideas you can do with your completed coloring page!
1. Good Guy, Bad Guy Ornament
Any of the above pages can be easily used to laminate a Christmas ornament that’s in need of a face-lift.
So if there’s a lackluster Christmas tree ball in mom and dad’s stash, youngsters can repurpose it to showcase the Grinch’s change of heart.
The children can color two Grinches and laminate one either side of the ornament to feature the Grinch before and after his transformation.
2. Grinch Sleigh Bells
The Grinch’s famous sleigh loaded with stolen presents is notorious, so why not turn it into a comical hanging ornament?
A coloring page featuring the Grinch and his ill-gotten gains is perfect for this craft. Once it’s colored, it should be laminated with contact paper or glassine.
Max, complete with his fake reindeer antlers, should then be colored and laminated as well and connected by string from the sleigh.
Red and green beads can be strung in between to complete this hilarious ornament.
3. An Original Grinch Santa Hat
Santa hats are fun to wear during the holidays, and with a Grinch coloring page and a little craft glue, your youngster can have the most interesting one of all.
Have your child color his or her favorite Grinch page and cut the character out.
One light coat of acrylic spray should be used on the front side.
With craft glue, the youngster can affix the Grinch to the front of the Santa hat and then decorate the hat’s white fringe with red and green glitter, pom-poms, or puffy paint.
4. A Hilarious Grinch Necklace
For this simple craft, you will be turning any of the above drawings into fun holiday necklaces.
To begin, color the Grinch, Max, or any How the Grinch Stole Christmas character and carefully cut it out. Then, use clear packing tape to laminate it.
A hole punch should be used to make a place for a red or green ribbon so that it can be worn as a necklace.
Don’t forget to add lots of embellishments, such as gold glitter, green and red pom-poms, felt or ribbons.
5. A Grinch Greeting Card
Use a piece of poster board folded in half to create a card, and draw a Santa sleigh on one side.
Cut out different colored squares from felt to look like wrapped Christmas presents, and glue them above the sleigh.
Color and cut out the Grinch, glue him to the top and use the other side to write a holiday greeting.
For a comical card, the child can write a funny saying, like “Bah Humbug,” using a Grinch coloring page where the character is scowling.
6. Make a Grinch Christmas Stocking
All youngsters enjoy making Christmas stockings, and this fun activity is great as a classroom craft.
Have each child color and cut out their favorite Grinch coloring page character and laminate it with glassine.
With craft glue, the Grinch cutouts can be affixed to the front of the stockings, and the children can use puffy paint to write their names on the top cuff.
7. Design Whoville Paper Dolls
Paper dolls are a lot of fun at Christmas time, and the above sheets can be used to make an entire paper doll collection.
Characters from “Whoville,” and of course, the Grinch himself, can be colored and cut out from coloring pages and laminated.
Other coloring pages can then be used to color and cut out only the characters’ outfits.
Youngsters can have a ball switching them around to make hilarious combinations.
8. Give Rover a Christmas Dish
If you have youngsters with pets, let them dress up a doggie bowl with a cute cutout of Max.
Find a page featuring Max with his homemade reindeer antlers.
The character should be cut out, glued to stiff cardboard, and sprayed with several coats of acrylic spray.
Krazy glue can then be used to attach the cut out to the front of Rover’s bowl for a fun Christmas pet dish.
9. Create Some Grinch Holiday Mugs
Everyone likes to drink apple cider and eggnog for Christmas, and what could be more fun than Grinch mugs?
Give the youngsters a set of plastic or ceramic mugs, and let them choose their favorite coloring page characters.
Use Grinch and Max, two of the Whoville characters, or any pair from the story that would make a nice set.
Make sure to laminate the mugs with acrylic spray, and remember not to put them through the dishwasher!
10. Make a Grinch Candy Cane
Candy Canes are popular holiday decorations, so let the Grinch get in on the fun.
Youngsters can draw and color a candy cane freestyle and decorate it with characters from the above sheets
Attach the Grinch in such a way that it looks like he is grasping the candy cane in his miserly way.
Children can also re-create the funny sleigh scene by adding the Grinch in a sleigh to the top of the candy cane and dangling a cutout of Max from a string to the other end!
